Background

I love making art and work primarily in the mediums of painting and drawing. I sometimes create in clay and assemblage sculpture.

I am also a news and creative writer. I taught Art in public schools for seven years and have led or participated in numerous community art collaborations and projects. I have a BA in Literary and Cultural Studies from The College of William and Mary and a BFA in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University.
